Last weekend Ben and I spent A LOT of time snuggled on the "ouch". He had a fever around 102 all weekend so we snuggled, it was enjoyable. On Monday, I took him to the Dr. and they guessed he might have strep because he was not eating and the Dr. thought he might have seen spots (Bennett was not all that cooperative during the exam, he even managed to cry through clenched teeth--that's my boy-they aren't going to trick him!)
Fast forward to Thursday, mind you he was much better, eating, playing, etc. Around 9:00 I was notified that he had a fever and needed to be picked up from school. So I went and got our boy, who, by the way was fine, with no evidence of fever the rest of the day, and kept asking for cookies--does he know how to milk a situation or what?
Our DVD is broken and the portable DVD was our option, so we went to the library and got some Dora videos and a couple books and settled in for the day.
