Well, it is official, Bennett is now 22 months!! Can you believe how quickly this time has gone! Dan and I talk all the time of how a year ago he was just learning to walk, now he runs, climbs, jumps, even tries somersaults!! He is a chatty parrot now too! The polite boy that he is typically says "Dak ou" (Thank you) when he is given something and has even been heard to ask for "More milk please dada (or momma)" with signs included. I will try include some video this time (if I can figure out how) so you can see him in action.
We went to the Overland Park Fall Festival and watched the parade (see picture). Ben, the parade veteran, sat patiently while all the politicians made their way up the street. A couple of weeks before we were at the Belton Homecoming parade and Bennett sat on the curb and waved to all the cars and especially loved the candy being thrown in his direction!!
Earlier this month our housing office got
circus tickets for the families. Ben was a little overwhemed, to say the least, by all the action (so was I).
We made it to intermission before he had enough, but he liked the elephants and tigers, making elephants noises and roaring!
